SITEEE evaluates a candidate's aptitude in core science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The examination is conducted entirely online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). To sit for the SITEEE 2026 exam, candidates must fulfill the following mandatory eligibility parameters:

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have cleared Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized central or state board.
• Mandatory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory. In addition, students must have studied one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship.
• Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required for General Category candidates, while SC/ST candidates need at least 40%.
• Alternative Qualifications: Candidates who hold a D.Voc. course in the same or allied sector are also eligible to apply. Bridge courses may be offered by the university if necessary.
• Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the SITEEE 2026 examination.
